    Dr. L. Chitra is an University rank holder during her UG (B.Sc. Biotechnology; 3rd Rank) and PG (M.Sc. Biotechnology; 1st Rank). She worked as Junior Research Fellow (2006-2009) and Senior Research Fellow (2009-2011), at DRDO-BU Center for Life Sciences, Bharathiar University, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India.

    Doctoral degree

    She completed her doctoral degree in biotechnology from DRDO-BU center for Life Sciences at Barathiar University during 2007-2013

    Postdoctoral

    She continued her research carrier as postdoctoral fellow under the scheme SERB-national postdoctoral fellowship and UGC-Dr. D.S. Kothari postdoctoral fellowship in Department of Biochemistry
